One factor coaches look closely at is your UTR (Universal Tennis Rating). If you have a UTR above 4.5 (women) and 6.5 (mens) we will be able to secure you a position on a team. However, the higher your UTR the more likely you are to receive a larger scholarship and a place on a better tennis team. 

For reference, most NCAA Division 1 players have a UTR of 9+ (womens) and 11+ (mens).

Nevertheless, academic scholarships are also a very viable route into a top University. With a high SAT/ACT an academic scholarship is more than possible!
